If you use the All-Around Jerky Maker with a sausage stuffer make sure
that you run the seasoned sausage batter through the All-Around
system “immediately” after the batter is mixed ... while it’s still soft and
squishy. Using freshly mixed batter will eliminate unnecessary strain on
your sausage stuffer, especially if your stuffer has plastic gears.
If you use the All-Around Jerky Maker with a meat grinder make sure
that you place the freshly mixed sausage batter in a refrigerator overnightso it can set up (or congeal) before you run it through the system. Freshly mixed batter is too soft and likely to clog the auger. A stiff batter, on the other hand, feeds through the All-Around Jerky Maker system quite well.
